Ever bought hi-fi equipment that sounded great in the store but not so great when you got it home?
Ever been to a restaurant where you couldn't hear the person on the other side of the table?
Perhaps you've been in a meeting or teleconference at the office where echoes or other noise problems made the conversation difficult to follow?
If you're into sound you probably know that audio's 'holy trinity' consists of quality equipment, recordings and acoustics. Traditionally there has been precious little that could be done about acoustic problems. Enter Eighth Nerve.
When sound matters
In some places sound is important. Maybe it's your music listening or home theatre room, an auditorium, a corporate meeting room or conference centre, a restaurant, bar or pub, perhaps a hotel lobby, a wedding reception centre or a church. A lecture theatre that has acoustic problems can prove distracting and make it hard to focus. Even a workplace can have noise issues that have an impact on stress and/or affect actual productivity.
Music & Home Theatre
Is your sound 100%? If you have spent good money on great hi-fi or home theatre equipment but have not addressed the acoustic problems of the room, you are almost certainly not hearing the full value of the money you have spent. Spending more money on equipment won't solve the problem. You are probably just be throwing good money after bad.
The Audio Lover's 'Holy Trinity' completed
Audiophiles have long recognised that acoustics play a major part in quality sound. Most rooms are not designed for the reproduction of sound and have a variety of acoustical problems. Some rooms are worse than others. If your room is the acoustical equivalent of a public toilet, it does not matter how much money you spend on equipment, it won't solve the problem. The 'holy trinity' in sound is comprised of good equipment, good recordings and good acoustics. Spending your hard earned money on equipment and NONE on treating your acoustic problems simply does not make sense. The problem has been that there was precious little that could be done about acoustic issues...until now.
Why choose Eighth Nerve?
Once you've heard your room treated by Eighth Nerve products only then will you appreciate the difference they make. Other acoustic products aim to dampen or 'deaden' your sound. If sound is important, deadening it is the last thing you want to do. With Eighth Nerve your sound will be balanced, more natural and have superior, warmer bass.
Reviews
But don't take our word for it. Read our feedback and reviews:
I'll be darned, they work. The presentation is smoother and more relaxed, less sense of being in a room. I must have more!!!!
- Bruce, Tennessee
Very happy with the results... low bass much clearer and more forceful... room distortion way down so that significantly more details cut through and soundstage grew noticeably wider.
- Dave, Utah
Imaging, Soundstaging and Clarity were all improved. Actually, I couldn't believe the difference.
- Jesse, Texas

Eighth Nerve products can also be surprisingly affordable if your budget is an issue. And if you're not absolutely satisfied we'll give you your money back.
Removable & Transportable
Other acoustic treatments are designed for a particular room and are permanent fixtures. Even if you could take them with you, you'd need another specialist to install it all again. Not only can you install Eighth Nerve products yourself, you can also take them down and take them with you. Moving house is not a big deal when it comes to your Eighth Nerve treatments.
Getting Technical
The other products provide reduction of SPL levels (Sound Pressure Levels) and reduction of reflection by means of absorption and diffusion. Eighth Nerve products are not designed to do either of these things. Our patent pending products are designed to eliminate acoustic distortion at the source, simultaneously causing a reduction of frequency peaks and dropouts, resulting in a flatter, more accurate frequency response.
